On this pretty sunny day~lets take a peek at SWINBURNE SARAWAK SCIENCE LAB~!!!
yap_never eat and drink in the lab
We had a total of 4 labs hanging around on the TOP floor of the building; three on the seven floor~ and one on the sixth
Picture shows the our neat and tidy Biochemistry lab~which most of the thing regarding DNA, protein and molecular biology will be done in this room. Chairs are nice to seat, but quite annoying and cluttering during experiments
The lab is big enough for about 50 people and is equipped with a range of instrument such as PCR machine, centrifuge, photo spectrometer , balances and a lot of free tissue for your running nose.
and yes... we have an ice making machine, as seen in the center of the photo
A dangerous room for gel staining. yes.. The stain is dangerous because it will turn you into the hulk~! RAARRRAAARRR~!!! Now i think you know why we placed a 1st aid kit just on the side of it.
Nezxt, Our Microbiology Lab.
the microlab is a bit smaller than the biochem lab
and obviously had larger instrument. WE called that oven like thing an "incubator"
you dont see much chairs since all of them are being pushed towards the corner. Sorry chairs~~~will sit on your next time.
and we have so called the "univiersal bottle", which is used as a home for bacteria
Also, test tubes.....we use it for ....erm....testing?
hehe,but i know~i did experiments before, results might be out on my future post, stay tune !!!
we also have a over sophisticated dish washer which is too complicated to use.
